A Canmore Ranch and Cornerstone Theatre Summer Wedding in Canmore

As Canmore wedding photographers we've had the opportunity to photograph many weddings around Canmore and the Bow Valley. One of our favourite local venues is the Cornerstone Theatre, a very unique venue with a wooden interior that gives a warm ambiance. The stage and iconic "MR & MRS" sign focus your attention to the front and centre of the action. The dramatic theatre lighting also adds to the atmosphere and results in more dramatic images, especially of the first dance.

Having your getting ready photos taken allows us to tell your wedding day story right from the very start. This part of your day is more relaxed and allows you to send time with your immediate family and wedding party. L & S took the time to laugh, relax and connect with the significant people in their lives while we photographed all the small details and the getting ready process.

Beautiful Sunny Ceremony at the Canmore Ranch

The Canmore Ranch is a stunning private ceremony venue with views of the surrounding mountains, including Ha Ling, Mount Rundle and Lawrence Grassi Peak. Surrounded by forest, you feel like you're disconnected from the hustle and bustle of modern life, yet this venue is only a few minutes drive from the heart of Canmore.

As local photographers to Canmore, we've had the chance to explore and photograph every corner of this town. Depending on the weather and time of day, we suggest different locations to get the best lighting possible. L & S were a ton of fun to photograph, their energy was infectious! Their wedding party kept the energy levels high.

Reception at the Cornerstone Theatre

Once couples photos were done, we headed to the Cornerstone Theatre for the reception. The tables were beautifully decorated and the lighting was cozy. Speeches and games were followed by first dances and the party continued on into the late night.
